Our Wedding Party

Jessica's Gals

Kate Kiely is one of Jessica's best friends in NYC. We met in NYC during my tenure at NRDC, and have been pretty much inseparable ever since. As brown-haired lookalikes, we've been habitually mistaken for one another and assumed to be sisters.

Anne Mittnacht is Jessica's oldest friend, dating back to our devilish childhood days in kindergarten at Bear Tavern. Our brothers will forgive us someday. She is a fellow yogi and bookworm, and forever an honorary member of the Espo / Bauer family.

Hae-an Chyun  is one of Jessica's best friends from high school, where we suffered through many math, science, and Latin classes together. She has remained a regular fixture in the Espo / Bauer households, and arrives almost everywhere with homemade baked goods.

Graelyn Brashear is also one of Jessica's best friends from high school since she moved to Hopewell sophomore year. We were fast friends upon realizing our mutual affection for impeccable grammar, environmentalism, and singing.

Katie Bova is one of Jessica's best friends in NYC. We met through mutual friends in the city, realized we were UWS neighbors, and bonded quickly over wine & cheese.  You can most often finding us cackling together over puns and interpretive dance moves.

Megan Hecker is Nick's older sister and Jessica's soon-to-be sister in law. She, like the rest of the Jones', has a natural affinity for sports of all kinds, and has helped teach Jessica the ways of "Jones-Ball." She was also instrumental in making sure the proposal plan went off without a hitch!

Nick's Dudes

Kevin Jones is Nick's older, wiser, and some would say handsomer (damn those baby blues) brother. To even attempt to sum up what Kevin means to me would be doing him a disservice. There is no one I trust more and would fool-heartedly follow to the ends of the earth than this man, even when those ends involve ice baths and temporary blindness. Kevin is Nick's Childhood Hero.

John Hecker is Nick's brother-in-law, father of Nick's totally awesome and amazing niece, and an all-around badass. Seriously, the guy is like a modern day MacGyver. More so, he has been and continues to be an incredible addition to the Jones family and Jessica and my lives and I honestly could gab on about how much I like him forever, but I'm already on line four and... ah crap, there goes line five.  John is Nick's Dream Date.

Luke Marlow... Man, where to start with this guy. Luke and Nick grew up on the same street, made it through K-12 together... alive incredibly, and have done their best to play foil to each other since day one. Let me say this; when a guy emphatically offers to "roast you" at your own funeral, you'll know you've found your will to live. Luke is Nick's Spirit Animal.

Kyle MacDonald grew up with Nick in Hamden and is a force to be reckoned with. Kyle is the kind of guy that has the unbridled audacity, determination, and confidence-of-self to accomplish anything. He is an inspiration, but more importantly he'd have my back in a fight... that he very possibly started. Kyle is Nick's White Whale.

Gianni Cionchi went to college with Nick and Jess and is the suavest dude I know. You would be hard pressed to find someone with more passion for life than this man, a passion that he is so excited to share, a passion that you can't help but be enraptured by, a passion that will leave you saying "Wait, is the that the sun coming up?" Gianni is Nick's Wild Card.

Johnny Esposito is Nick's soon-to-be brother in law and one of the most insanely fun people to talk to I've ever met. Johnny is the kind of guy you have a conversation with and afterwards say to yourself "Damn, that kid is going to do something." It has been such a fun ride watching what he's done so far, but for the love of God I hope he tones down the handsome for my big day. Johnny is Nick's Brother.
